We rescued Piper off of a busy highway in Atlanta, Georgia on July 4, 2005 when she was about six to eight weeks old.

With her left eye hanging out of the socket, she was still happy to see us with the one good eye!

Seven months later, she nears certification as a K-9 Search and Rescue Dog!!
